Richmond Hair Rescue - Our Headlice Removal Treatment

Stages of treatment:

1. We apply a dimethicone solution (a chemical-free, silicone-based treatment which works by suffocating the lice and eggs)

2. We comb out thoroughly with a lice comb , removing all lice and as many eggs (nits) as possible

3. We then wash the hair to remove the solution

4. We comb through again to remove any dislodged nits

5. We dry the hair

6. We then use a heated comb through the hair

7. Finally we will braid if required

Treatment time is between 1 hour 15 mins to 1 hour 45 mins depending on severity/hair length/thickness.
